Nampa, Idaho Homes for Sale

Located about 20 miles west of Boise, Nampa is a slightly more rural-feeling city. Homes in Nampa range from suburban neighborhoods to multi-acre farms. Being the third biggest city in the state, Nampa is full of culture. The Idaho Center hosts concerts, sporting events, rodeos (the Snake River Stampede is one of the nation’s top rodeos), and expos year-round. The College of Western Idaho and Northwest Nazarene University are two major universities in the area. There are over twenty parks in Nampa, and multiple golf courses including Centennial Golf Course and Redhawk Golf Course. Karcher Mall is a huge shopping center and area of town, home to malls, theaters, and restaurants. To the southwest sits Lake Lowell, a huge recreational lake that many flock to during the summer for camping, hiking, and boating activities. Downtown Nampa has numerous shops, cafes, and local restaurants, many of which are housed in historic old buildings.

Nampa is bordered by Meridian to the east and Caldwell to the north and west. To the south of Nampa is many small rural communities, wine country, and the Snake River Reserve.
